Color is all around us. And color is an important element in art. We will start the class with introductions and go over how to take turns in the ZOOM classroom. The materials that we need for the class will also be gone over to insure that everyone is ready. The Primary Colors will be talked about, with learners sharing their prior knowledge as well. On a piece of paper the learner will trace a circle to start their Color Wheel. A ruler will be used to make the different sections on the wheel. Next Secondary Colors will be discussed and the class will be asked if they know how to mix them. Warm and Cool colors, Complimentary colors, and how black and white changes colors will be introduced. Learners will share their Color Wheels and tell about something new they discovered.
