Class Experience
In this one-time course, students will first learn strategies for solving multiplication problems (2x2 digits, and up to 4x1 digits), and then play a fun and interactive game while practicing their skills. I am a licensed teacher with a Masters Degree in Instructional Design and Technology. I have several years of experience teaching in both special and general education public school settings. I look forward to having fun while learning with you!

1 file available upon enrollment-Pencil and scratch paper (blank, lined, or grid) -Printed copy of the board game, available in the Classroom tab after enrolling (or a handmade sketched version is fine! Just look at the attachment to create one if you don’t have a printer at home) -At least ten each of two different colors/kinds of coins/tokens/items. For example: ten red BINGO chips and ten blue BINGO chips; OR ten pennies and ten nickels; OR ten white scraps of paper and ten black scraps of paper. It doesn't matter what the items are :)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
