Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this personalized 1-to-1 class, offered twice a week, students will embark on a journey to master multiplication facts through interactive activities, problem-solving, and real-world applications. .

Class Experience:
Throughout the course, I’ll work closely with students to guide them through each multiplication concept in a way that suits their unique learning pace and style. Here's a breakdown of how each class will be structured and taught:

Teaching Approach:
Each session begins with a brief, interactive mini-lesson to introduce new strategies or reinforce existing ones. Through visual slides, relatable examples, and one-on-one support, students will discover how multiplication works in a way that’s accessible and engaging. My teaching style is highly energetic and student-centered, encouraging questions, exploration, and real-world connections.

Class Structure:
Our time together is divided into focused segments, maximizing learning and keeping sessions engaging:

Mini-Lessons: Brief, targeted explanations on new strategies, such as grouping, skip-counting, and decomposing numbers for easier multiplication.
Interactive Games & Activities: Fun, math-themed games and digital tools keep students engaged while reinforcing multiplication facts. Activities like number matching, timed multiplication challenges, and interactive whiteboard exercises make learning dynamic and enjoyable.

Practice & Problem Solving: With hands-on practice and step-by-step problem-solving, students will work through multiplication concepts individually while I provide immediate feedback and guidance.
Real-life Connections: Occasionally, we’ll explore real-world multiplication scenarios, like planning a small budget or organizing items, to show how math applies in everyday situations.

Interaction & Engagement:
This one-on-one format allows for high levels of engagement, with the student having my full attention each session. They can ask questions anytime, participate in fun math challenges, and receive personalized feedback on their progress.

By the end of the course, students will not only be able to recall multiplication facts confidently but also understand how to use them independently in real-life applications. This 1-to-1 class is designed to be fun, interactive, and supportive, creating an enjoyable and productive learning experience for every student.
