In this one-time nature class, we will explore an amazing and ferocious apex predator; the Komodo dragon. Throughout our lesson, you will see lots of photos and videos of this animal. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss. You will discover why this predator is at the top of the food chain and why it isn't likely to become prey. You will find out important stats like where it lives in the world, how big it is, what it eats, and how it hunts. We will also talk about all the special characteristics that make this animal so unique. This class comes with an optional apex predator worksheet for printing. This ESL-friendly class is suitable for students at intermediate English levels B1 and up. Learning Goals
