AP American History

This is a course that follows the AP (College Board) guidelines for the US History Exam. Students will be trained for any type of advanced level college testing.

What's included

90 live meetings
75 in-class hours
Homework
4+ hours per week. Homework will be assigned 3-4 times per week.
Assessment
Assessments will be assigned to students to do outside of class time. It is up to the student if they want to do the assessments as open or closed book. Assessments will be material similar to the AP US History.
Grading
Grades will be given for all assignments so student can track progress and readiness to take the AP Exam.

Theme 2: Politics and Power (POL) This theme focuses on how different social and political groups have influenced society and government in the United States, as well as how political beliefs and institutions have changed over time.
