Class Experience

In this 8-week multiday class, we will be going over different signs every single week. For this class, it is highly recommended that the learner has completed the classes in the funnel prior to enrolling (or as needed, please message me and set up a time to do a one-time private 1:1 to evaluate where your learner may fit best).

My teaching style is different from most as I'm going to mainly focus on how to sign the word along with correct grammar when doing so. The Deaf culture is something that I Iove and have been involved in for over 20 years.

This is approximately how the weeks will go, however this may change at any time during classes.
Week 1 / Theme: Introduction
Week 2 / Theme: Colors and Time
Week 3 / Theme: (finish) Time and Food
Week 4 / Theme: (finish) Food
Week 5 / Theme: Clothes and Things
Week 6 / Theme: (finish) Things and Animals
Week 7 / Theme: Animals
Week 8 / Theme: Review

During class time, we will be introducing ourselves in American Sign language, then go over the course material for the day, ask questions about different signs, and then if there is time we will be able to play games like Kahoot! or Hang Man. In this course, it is important to keep your camera on and be attentive in this class. Since this is a class that will be teaching another language, I will ask all students to turn their cameras on and be present.

This is a class that is part of a Multi-Section series, so if you enjoyed this one, come back and take another!

Outschool and Classroom Policies:

> Messages will be responded to in 24 hours Monday-Friday, however on the weekend I will respond first thing Monday morning
