Beginner Level
Your student will learn how to code with Python, one of the world's most popular coding languages. This is a highly interactive class with students encouraged to interact with other students and the instructor regularly. - Students will be introduced to Python and learn about the basic syntax(structure) of the language. The goal of the class is for students to be interested in continuing to learn about coding and technology!
I’ve been a professional developer for nearly a decade. In the past I've worked for Dell, Apple, Best Buy, and the Government of New Zealand. Over the last 4 years, I’ve been teaching and mentoring aspiring junior developers.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will use Code with Mu, a free code editor designed specifically for beginners. Code with Mu requires any Windows, Apple Mac, or Linux computer. We will also utilize the official Python documentation (instructions) from Python.org as a reference throughout the class.
