One of the trickiest things with the ACT test is answering questions not only correctly, but also quickly. Time is short! I address how to do both as you take the science section of the test. I use the I/We/You technique in my teaching style. First I model how "I" do things. Next, we discuss how "We" approach a problem. Due to time, students will implement the "You" portion as homework between lessons. Students will not have to figure out how to test by themselves. They'll see it modeled for...
Students will learn how to efficiently and effectively approach any ACT science passage and problem. They will learn by example, practicing in class, and completing homework.
Homework will be given to help students put the lessons into practice. If students practice now, they'll be better prepared for the actual test date.
PDF Handouts will be provided to supplement students' study for the ACT science section.
