Welcome to fifth grade math! This 5th grade math class is part of a full year curriculum which is divided into 8 sections. The full curriculum includes printable notes, practice activities, and assessments, as well as video instruction from a licensed, experienced 5th grade teacher & the creator of the curriculum. The topics covered in this course are aligned with the CCSS (Common Core State Standards) as a guide for instruction. ________________________________________________ This 5th grade math class is great for homeschooling students or traditional students to use as a supplement or as a full course curriculum for fifth grade math! Successful completion of a full 4th grade math course is necessary for students to enroll in this course. All lessons are pre-recorded and the student is free to work at his or her own pace throughout the entirety of the course. Teacher feedback will be available for 4 weeks. ________________________________________________ The course begins by providing notes, practice, activities, and answer guides for printing. If your learner does not have access to a printer, these pages can be used digitally with a blank piece of paper as well. Students may submit any of their assignments and/or assessments for feedback from the teacher. Feedback will be provided within 24 hours of each submission. SECTION 6: Fraction Operations SECTION 7: Volume & Geometry Concepts SECTION 8: Measurement & Graphing Concepts Above is a SUGGESTED ORDER of courses, but the order of topics can be modified for your learner. ________________________________________________ My goal is to help students MAKE SENSE of what they are learning, and not just memorize content. I believe very strongly in focusing on the "WHY" and "HOW". 📨Please feel free to reach out with questions you may have!
