Mrs. Collins has 23 years of experience teaching science. She is also a certified teacher in science and gifted studies.
4-5 mini assignments each week, with a monthly project.
5 files available upon enrollmentspiral notebook scissors tape glue pencils/pens colored pencils/markers or crayons shoebox (to hold supplies) ziploc bags (sandwich size) ruler playdoh or clay (if allergic to play-doh please use clay or opt out of lab) permanent markers (black and blue) various magnets (recommended but not required) chenille sticks paper plates assorted legos paper clips tape toy car for motion experiment egg carton coffee filter string 2 eggs for egg drop experiment tissue paper cotton balls baking soda vinegar balloon straws shoebox or small cardboard box construction paper watercolor paint set random batteries lemons cut up apples paint and paint brush tissue paper (optional) *Students will also be asked to collect specific items in nature during the semester.

Please help the student the first week learn how to find and upload work. Please look over the supply list, and be aware of allergens. If allergic to any supplies, please opt out of the lab and let me know. Students will be preforming lab experiments so please be aware of the lab supplies and that assistance at home maybe needed.
