In this 4-week course, learners will practice and receive support for reading comprehension and fluency.
Class experience
In this private tutoring session, learners will receive individualized instruction and support in fluency and comprehension. I strive to make classes fun and engaging and provide an environment conducive to learning. Each lesson will involve the learner reading a passage as I gauge fluency rate and proficiency. I have taught in public, private, and public charter schools I have a Bachelor's in Psychology as well as a Master's in Education. I have training in the Orton Gillingham method and Wilson Reading System. I tutor students in reading and provided support to struggling students in Title 1 schools.
