During this private tutoring session, we will focus on the student’s current writing abilities or project. Time will be directed by student needs and can include any part of the writing process, including brainstorming/topic selection, thesis statements, outlines, rough drafts, writing introductions / conclusions, paragraph writing, transition sentences, in-text citations, works cited pages, or more. Tutoring is available one-time or over multiple sessions and in 25 or 50 minute classes. If...

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12. For the pst several years I have been tutoring students, focusing on writing skills.
Supplies needed will depend on each individual student and will be discussed prior to the first meeting. Generally students will need paper and a pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be informally assessed during class so that I can adjust class time to the learner’s needs. There is no formal assessment.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
