Class Experience
US Grade 3 - 8
This course is intended for 1-on-1 private tutoring on specific topcs related to English and/or Social Studies. Every class will be tailored to fit the needs of your child, including materials, objectives, and learning style. I like to include many different techniques and styles, so you will see a wide range of media, tools, platforms, videos and games! **This is not homework help, though learners are free to bring their work for support. I focus on strengthening skills and expanding content knowledge. Each class is student-driven and can focus on any area the student struggles in. I have 13 years of experience teaching middle school ELA and Social Studies. I have extensive training on topics such as Civil Rights, Ancient World History and writing through Chicago Public Schools Cohorts and programs. I have a passion for American History and Ancient History, specifically Ancient Egypt. All communication will be done through the Outschool classroom.
Learning Goals
Learners will strengthen knowledge and skills needed in social studies to be successful and engaged learners in class
