Class Experience

Before or upon scheduling our sessions, I kindly ask that you inform me of the topics you wish to explore. Sharing the material you're currently studying in advance of our meeting will significantly enhance our sessions. This advance information allows me to familiarize myself with the subject matter and better understand the specific challenges or questions you're facing
In this class, the curriculum is personalized to cater to the learner's unique interests and needs across a diverse array of subjects in physics.
The topics we may cover include kinematics, forces, energy, momentum, light, sound, optics, electricity, and modern physics.
The class structure is highly flexible, designed for one-on-one sessions where students can choose their topics of interest. Teaching methods encompass a blend of traditional approaches, interactive techniques, and modern resources. I employ a mix of visual aids, problem-solving strategies, real-world applications, and tailored exercises to cater to different learning styles, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. My teaching style focuses on fostering critical thinking, encouraging questions, and building a strong conceptual foundation while allowing learners to set their learning pace. Interactions within the class involve a variety of methods, including discussions, problem-solving activities, visual aids such as slides or video clips, interactive games, and periodic assessments to track progress. Learners need not possess any specific prior knowledge; the class is tailored to accommodate individuals of all skill levels, ensuring a supportive environment for beginners and challenging content for those seeking more advanced instruction.

Learning Goals

I'll be sure students gain a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical concepts tailored to their interests and needs, like:
Statics, kinematics, forces, energy, momentum, light, optics, sound, electricity, and modern physics.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello parents:
I teach mathematics, physics and science.
I obtained a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a comparative evaluation of studies done by the MICC of Quebec, Canada
As Engineer, I worked for many years for a lot different industries before deciding becoming a university professor.
I realized that teaching was my passion and what I wanted to do it full time.
I give my students simple explanations for complex subjects and help them relate the to everyday problems.
I guarantee that I'll engage with your children so they will feel motivated, interested and involved in the learning process.
If needed, I can teach in English, French or Spanish.
