1-on-1 English Tutoring Classes

Since this will be a 1-1 class, the student will have the entire hour to interact with me and ask me questions about the lesson we are working on. After thoroughly explaining a topic, the student will have in-class activities to complete in order to apply the lesson to their own work.  

I specialize in Language Arts assignments. During the class, students will be taught how to properly formulate a paragraph, an essay, how to properly structure sentences, and students will be encouraged to pay close attention to their use of grammar. 
The theme of the class will depend on the topic that will be presented to the student. For example, if the topic is about Point of View, then the class will focus on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person perspectives. Some topics will be challenging and will require us to have several classes focusing on that one topic. Nonetheless, students will apply information from the previous classes and strengthen their knowledge as classes progress. Many times, I have noticed that when I present a new topic and students do not have any familiarity with it, by class three, they are a lot more knowledgeable because two classes have been spent on a specific topic.     

Depending on the topic that the student will be presented with, every class will be different.
