In this live class we will explore the ancient city of Skara Brae located in modern day Scotland. The class will consist of a discussion with pictures and videos. Students will learn about the archaeological process and the Neolithic Age, along with the history of the settlement of Skara Brae. I keep my classes small to ensure that students are able to engage and not feel crowded out. Questions and thoughts are encouraged throughout class, but not required. If you prefer to keep engagement...

I am a lover of history, the more obscure the better. This class explores ancient ruins that are not widely known about. Little known locations fascinate me and I am excited to share my passion for history with those that engage with me.
Students will need to access Zoom, a computer, internet access and materials for projects as needed. Project materials will be based on projects chosen by students. They will have the freedom to choose what materials they would like to use.
