The Runway - Fashion design Club is a creative space for budding fashion designers to share drawings, paintings and ideas with creatives just like them. The Runway will have bi-weekly and monthly design challenges. Challenge Examples: Under the Sea Fashion Challenge — design a gown or outfit that is inspired by ocean and saline — think color palette, textures (sea shells, coral) and lots of movement! Material Suggestion: Pencil and color (pencils, watercolor, markers) Unlikely...

This club encourages thinking outside of the box and promotes creative problem solving. This club is great for budding fashion designers who are over critical of themselves — pushing them to be confident of their creative mark, while exploring different fashion styles and drawing techniques.
My name is Teacher Char, I've been an Arts Educator for over 10 years in Toronto, Ontario Canada. I have worked in public and private schools, as well as leading workshops in art galleries and on Zoom. As an Arts Educator I believe in providing the tools to my students to not only encourage their growth as artists and creatives, but to also build their confidence and celebrate their creativity and style. Alongside Arts Education, I am a professional Illustrator — I work with bridal fashions and designers, illustrating watercolor fashion portraits in addition to portraits. I love to create and explore all art forms.
