Welcome to Anime Art Group! This is a super exciting space where, Mrs. Roxy, a professional artist and instructor, will moderate this amazing Anime group. As a long-time Art Teacher, in the classroom, and Online here on Outschool, I am elated to have a platform to share my love of Anime! I will have daily posts and members are encouraged to post anytime!! For example, learners can post any anime, chibi, manga, movies, shows, figurines, fashion, school supplies, posters or artwork, including their own! I will post content that ignites threads of discussion, and project sharing, and inspires learners. I will post tutorials and art tips/tricks. For example, I will have Draw this in Your Style challenges or find an image to that matches. We will have an amazing space to share what you are working on from, writing, creating a manga to making an original character. We will also have fun games like to guess the name of studio ghibli character from mysterious clues. I will post silly jokes, riddles, would rather questions and quizzes. Find out your Anime name! There will be opportunities to share and connect with others learners. Let's dive deeper into the world of Anime! I can't wait to share tutorials, drawing prompts, and fun games! *The only requirement for this class is to adhere to the guidelines. The focus class will be a friendly club, please keep conversations clean, kind, and encouraging! Please see Additional Notes below for Group guidelines, as content that does not adhere to guidelines will be deleted. Thank you!

Welcome to our Group! We want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why we have 3 rules we ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful.
Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included.
Learners from all over the world, with different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, religions and body types, participate in our Group. Always be nice and make others, especially new learners, know that they belong and are welcome. Teasing, name-calling, or bullying anybody in our community? Nope. Not happening here. Any content that is sexually or romanitc mature will be removed. No discussion of sexuality or relationships, personal or otherwise is permitted and comments will be taken down. We want ot keep the group clean, PG and art focused. Thank you for your understanding.
Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs.
Personal things are personal. We want to keep you safe on Outschool, but we also want YOU to understand how to be safe when you're meeting other learners or teachers. Keep your full name, home address, gaming or social media name, email, and school name private.
Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated.
Keep language clean and information you share safe. If you wouldn't say it or share with your grandma, don't do it here. Swear words, racy videos, and violent images are not allowed. No art of romantic scene, shipping or racy outfits. Treat Outschool like a public place, and when in doubt, keep things covered.

😊Hi, welcome art friends! I am Mrs. Roxy ( Rosanna V. Phillips) I am an artist, private art instructor, and long-time Homeschool Teacher. I am a 5-star rated Outschool Educator who has taught over several thousand learners since joining Outschool in 2020. I strive to provide a positive, encouraging, and empowering environment where my art friends can learn to unlock their secret creative potential! I am a Homeschool mom of three amazing kids ( plus a fur mom to many persnickety pets; including adorable pound puppies and three rescue fuzz ball cats!)
I love studying art at museums. Some of my favorite museums include; the Louvre, the world's largest art museum in Paris, France, and is best known for being the home of the Mona Lisa. A close tie for second place is the Ningxia Museum in China. And finally, near and dear to my heart is the famous Getty Museum, in Southern California where I currently reside with with my husband, three cute kids, and all our crazy fluffy fur babies that we rescued, so far.
As a full-time dedicated professional artist and art educator here on Outschool, I am passionate about offering my unique perspectives to guide young art friends to discover their creative journey. I am highly experienced in the areas of illustration, anime, hyperrealism, and design. I use this unique background to inspire my art friends to add highly creative twists that create awe-inspiring larger-than-life art pieces!
My areas of expertise that I love to focus on are Cultivating Creativity/Resourcefulness, Thinking like an Artist, and Divergent thinking, or “thinking outside the box”. According to recent studies, the creative process of making art sharpens problem-solving and critical thinking skills, the ability to focus, and much more. Studies also show people who make any type of art including sketching are less stressed, anxious, and depressed. Researchers liken creating art to exercise for the brain, similar to how physical exercise aids the body, creating art helps to keep the mind sharp! In other words, Art makes us happy, smart, and great problem solvers!
I am so excited to teach creative expression through various forms of art and to connect learners through exciting sociable art clubs.
