In this 30 minute one time science based class we will focus on the art of animal camouflage. There is much more to camouflage than just changing colors. There is motion, blending, olfactory, disruptive coloration and even imitating or looking like an inanimate object, like a leaf or stick. We will also discuss the use of warning signals, such as bright colors or odd behaviors. This class features live animals that will help learners understand how animals are able to use their bodies, habits...
Learners will understand the word camouflage and the many ways animals exhibit and use camouflage in the wild.
