In this class we will explore basic knowledge of the world of aviation. Do you want to be a pilot, flight attendant, aviation mechanic, or maybe fly as a hobby. Are airplanes, drones and helicopters fascinating to you? Come and learn basic knowledge of all things aviation with me. In this class we will also explore aviation youth opportunities. Each week will have a theme that we will be discussing. Learners are welcome to come and go from class as needed, the material in this class does not build. Week of May 6th - Single Engine Aircraft Week of May 13 - Drones Week of May 20 - Experimental Aircraft Association Week of May 27 - Commercial Pilots

My name is Julianna, and I am a homeschool mom to three wonderful children. A little bit about me is that I am a volunteer member of the Civil Air Patrol (Auxiliary of the Air Force) working directly with youth to strengthen their leadership, aviation and aerospace skills. I am a leader of a local homeschool co-op and ran a successful daycare / preschool pre-covid. My interests are aviation, camping, and American history.
A quote that inspires me is: “Whatever you are, be a good one.”
This quote to me means that all we can do is be the very best we can be. In my classes I encourage all learners to try their very best and to always support one another. Positivity is very important when it comes to a healthy learning environment.
