In this 4-week class, students will learn the background and history of the ukulele, parts of the instrument, basic chords and how to apply them to 2-3 fun songs using strumming patterns. Students will learn the history and background of the ukulele, parts of the instrument. Students will learn how to hold the ukulele and best position the hands while playing. Students will learn 3-4 basic chords on ukulele, how to use a strumming pattern to play a song, and how to read chord charts through 2-3 fun songs. Students will learn the difference between major and minor chords.
