Our dogs are here to be our companions in our every day lives and bring a sense of calm to our minds that is one of a kind. We naturally bond in every day moments and so why not enjoy some Yoga or Doga while bonding with our best Paw Pals. We will practice a yoga sequence together and have some laughs and entertainment as we observe what our dogs do. Will they decide to follow or mimic our yoga poses, be curious and sniff about or just be by our sides while we find ease in our stretch and calm in our minds. Dogs are so intuitive and intelligent and they sense what we are feeling in the moment. Have you ever noticed that if you are sick your dog is right there to give you a snuggle and won’t leave your side until you feel well again. Or if you are sad they seem to try to cheer you up with a pooch smooch or some snuggles. That’s because they tune into their natural intuition and instincts and sync with our energy. We have such a special bond with our dogs because we become connected on an intuitive deep energy level. That energy can create a very deep bond and in time the bond strengthens naturally. We must Remember that our dogs always deserve our respect to just flow intuitively by instinctively knowing what is best in each given moment. It’s like it’s their Superpower, they just know what we need from them naturally! So let’s become connected energetically to our best paw pals and just be in the moment with them, in a Pawsitively unique experience of connection & reflection.

Yoga with your dog- Doga Natural Intuitive Yoga Flow!
Dogs make us feel cool calm and collected. There’s something pawsitivly special about the way our dogs can help make us feel our absolute best. Practice some new yoga poses in a yoga flow with your Dog! We will enjoy the calming energy as we Breathe, Paws (pause) & be Zen!

>>>We will be moving mindfully throughout this class to remind ourselves to listen to our bodies as we move through the poses. Knowing what we are capable of and to adjust our yoga poses if necessary to meet each individuals needs or skill sets, by being Mindful of our limits. (All poses are geared towards beginner friendly Yoga).
>>>Your child’s best Paw-Pal (this is not a dog training/trick class (this is a companionship/ observation of our dog’s natural intuitive self) we will flow through our yoga poses and our paw pals will just be in their natural state as our companions. Some dogs may naturally follow our body cues and do a few yoga poses on their own free will, while others may just want to be by our sides offering a paw for support.
>>>Gel pens/Sparkle Gel pens/ Pencil Crayons/ or Fine tip Markers are needed for our Pawsitive Affirmation Zen Art portion of class.

No experience necessary as this class is suitable for beginners. This class is intended to be fun, positive and interactive!
We will be moving mindfully throughout each Yoga pose to take care/ precautions to listen to our bodies abilities.

I Teach Yoga! I am registered with Yoga Alliance holding a RYTT 500 (Registered Yoga Teacher Training) & RCYTT 95 (Registered Children's Yoga Teacher Training). I love to continue to learn as well and am always advancing My Yoga skills. I am also certified as a Mindfulness Coach! I believe learning should be fun! I’m excited to offer a wide range of themed Yoga classes that give opportunities to learn Yoga Asanas (postures/poses) well also honing in on self care and mindfulness. Yoga is a great tool to help with anxiety and help bring peacefulness and self love/ self care into ones life.
My goal as a Mindfulness coach and Yoga teacher is to help guide you in your journey. Yoga is a journey of the self to the self through the self. Yoga is also a way of life! Yoga isn’t just about yoga poses, It’s about setting intentions, being mindful and enjoying the journey of self expression with a positive outlook on life while creating Self-confidence through cultivating balance, peace, and rest each and every day.
