第一次世界大戰：衝突背後的力量 ||歷史探險營

Does your learner dream of stepping into the pages of history? In this immersive 3-day camp, they won’t just learn about the causes of World War I—they’ll live them. Through an interactive strategy game, learners will explore the tangled web of militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism that ignited the Great War.

What They’ll Do:
-Take on the roles of global powers navigating pre-WW1 tensions.
-Strategize alliances, military moves, and political decisions.
-Witness how interconnected forces spiraled into conflict.

Through an engaging strategy game and critical reflections, learners will unknowingly simulate the causes of WW1, uncovering the historical context, key actors, and ideologies of this pivotal era. Each day concludes with a debrief to connect the game to real-world history, and if time allows, a fun Kahoot quiz to reinforce what they’ve learned.

Whether they’re history buffs or new to the topic, this camp will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the forces that shaped the modern world.

Active Participation: In this class, active participation is key to meaningful engagement and learning. Learners are strongly encouraged to contribute to discussions, share their perspectives, and ask questions. To promote critical thinking and effective in-class interactions, the chat feature should be used sparingly. While quick questions or clarifications are welcome, longer answers or discussions are best reserved for face-to-face interactions during class time.

Punctuality: It’s essential for learners to arrive on time for this class. While late arrivals are welcome to join and participate from the moment they arrive, we won’t be able to restart simulations or catch up on missed activities due to time constraints. To ensure the best experience for everyone, punctuality is strongly encouraged.
