This is part 4 of an intensive writing course that will take your student through an entire school year exploring narative, formal letters, descriptions, how-to articles, persuasive writing, creative writing and expository writing in a small group setting. Class will include instruction in the various types of writing, writing process from brainstorming to publishing. An opportunity to practice public speaking skills will given at the end of each writing project. Student participation is an...
- Students will learn to write different types of essays, stories and articles. Students will learn to use the writing process. Students will develop public speaking skills as they present their work to their classmates. Students will learn to give positive, encouraging feedback to their peers.
I am a retired elementary teacher with experience in public, private and homeshool environments. I absolutely love teaching this age group of students and watch them develp good communication skills through writing and public speaking.

Student needs one spiral notebook or composition book for daily use and another one for publishing their work. Student needs pencil for each class. Additional supplies may be listed in class notes for specific classes.
