In this short-term class, students will write a 5-paragraph essay and receive feedback from a licensed ELA teacher. Day 1 Plan and Write a Paragraph We will talk about the basic structure of paragraphs. Students will plan and write their own paragraphs. They will be provided with a writing prompt, rubric, self-edit check list, and receive feedback about their paragraph from the teacher. Day 2 Body Paragraphs Students will learn how to plan and write body paragraphs that would be included...
- Students will plan, draft, edit, revise, and submit a final draft of a 5-paragraph essay. After submitting the essay, students will receive feedback based on a rubric and self-editing checklist provided by the teacher.
I am a licensed K-12 teacher with 10 years of experience. My education includes a Bachelor's in English and a Master's in Teaching.
