Roll and Write a Silly Sentence is an educational class designed for younger students who are starting to read and write sentences. This class helps students practice writing complete sentences in an interactive fun way while writing complete sentences using: who, what where, and when. This activity will be presented in a game like format. Each student will get equal turns rolling a phrase. The students will roll the dice and find all the parts of a silly sentence on a BINGO style...
The student will practice and produce complete sentences in shared language activities.
As an elementary classroom teacher, I created this educational activity for teaching sentence structure to younger students in a fun and exciting way. Creating fun ways to include all of the components of a complete sentences can be memorable and motivating to younger students instead of overwhelming. Throughout the years, my students loved sharing and saying their silly sentences with each other and had lots of laughs along the way.
