In this class, the best-selling fantasy & horror games designer, Oliver McNeil, will teach you his role-playing games and adventure writing methods. This will be an informal discussion-based class, which will include working on ideas brought forward by the students. Each lesson will focus on various aspects of story writing. July 4th: Lesson One: Crafting the World. July 11th: Lesson Two: Characters and Objectives July 18th: Lesson Three: Challenges and Threats July 25th: Lesson Four: Designing the Details August 1st: Lesson Five: Bringing the World to Life Students do not need experience in any particular gaming system, as this will work for all of them, as well as creative writing.
