In this multi-day course, students will complete writing workshops focusing on the different literary elements of historical fiction writing. Each each will have a different focus which will ultimately result in a final short historical fiction story that has been reviewed, edited, and revised.
Session One:
- Setting and Time Period
- World Building
- Character Development
Session Two:
- Character Development
- Language
- Plot Development and Elements
Session...Students will be able to write a short historical fiction story using the various elements of a struggle writing.
I have taught middle school and high school English for many years professionally. And they currently have multiple classes on them creative writing and story writing. I am also currently working on my own creative writing that I am stages of publishing.
