Students will gain writing practice by working on a different writing activity after a short mini-lesson given by Miss Katie. (See schedule of possible writing activities below) Students will be encouraged to write 4-5 sentences and to use their "best spelling" Students will then have the opportunity to share their writing toward the end of class, if they choose to do so :) Students will take turns reading their writing and giving each other positive feedback about what they liked/what they could relate to in each other's writing. . . . Weekly Write & Share topics: - favorite animal - my vacation - friendly letter - sensory/descriptive - how-to - book review ...and more to come!

✏️ Focus of my Outschool classes is on teaching basic concepts in a fun setting, providing students with opportunities to practice their writing skills, and creating a friendly space for students to share their ideas with others
✏️ Relationship building is so important to me as a teacher! I love getting to connect with students on Outschool in small group and one-on-one settings, and I enjoy having the chance to help build the confidence & spark the creativity of young learners
