Writing can be a struggle for many students, but I believe that with a little practice and some fun prompts, students can learn to love writing. This is an introductory writing class that can help students become more confident in their writing skills by using a journal to write about their favorite subject- themselves! Students will learn to write creatively and communicate effectively in their writing. Students will also learn many ways to brainstorm prior to writing.
It is recommended that your student has a specific notebook or journal for this class and a writing utensil. Lined paper is also fine.
