World Wonders will look at a different children's book each week. The goal of this class is help students strengthen their English skills while engaging in funny books around various themes. Students will practise their verbal and reading comprehension skills through discussion and role playing. Each week I will share a story and ask questions before, during, and after the book. After the story, there will be a discussion about the book and an optional follow up activity for the students to complete on their own time. Come learn with me and let's get silly!

Hi! My name is Ren, and I’m an Ontario-trained elementary teacher with an additional qualification in Intermediate Health and Physical Education. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in a variety of settings, from the bustling city of London, England, to vibrant Toronto, Ontario, and scenic New Zealand. I've taught students ranging from 3 to 14 years old, giving me a broad understanding of different educational needs and learning styles.
On Outschool, I offer a range of interactive classes that focus on reading, writing, science, social studies, and more! My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels heard and valued. I believe in engaging students through creative activities, encouraging critical thinking, and building their confidence in a collaborative, safe learning space.
When I’m not teaching, you can find me enjoying outdoor adventures, reading, playing board games, spending time with family and friends, or trying out new recipes. I love bringing a sense of curiosity and fun into my classroom to inspire students to explore new ideas and interests!
