Welcome! This course is designed to help learners such as yourself understand the events of the Holocaust. Together we will journey through the experiences of the victims from the beginning with the Nuremberg Laws of 1935, all the way to the liberation of the camps across Europe at the war's end. This course is intended to be informative and to help students understand how the Holocaust happened and how it impacted millions of lives. Using primary sources and historical information, this class aims to help students understand the importance of learning about historical events such as these in order to keep these stories alive and to ensure something like this never happens again. In each class, students will be led by a slideshow presentation which will help facilitate their learning through questions, images, and information. Please see the Syllabus tab for a breakdown of what we will discuss in each of the classes. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding this course, I am happy to help.

其他詳情
父母的引導和規範
The Holocaust is a very sensitive topic. Discussions will contain information about particular experiences of victims of the Holocaust but will be censored to avoid graphic details. There will be no images displayed that are overly graphic and conversation on particularly sensitive issues such as any torture, medical experimentation, or graphic forms of death will not be discussed in detail as I believe that is something for older students to decide for themselves if they want to know more about. This class is intended to educate students about the experiences of the victims from the earliest changes in the laws that took away rights, to the liberation of the camps. Please do not hesitate to reach out and ask for more specific information if you have any concerns.
