Are you looking to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day? Are you ready to discover our wonderful world? In this series, students will draw a wonderful woman as a way to celebrate women's history. This class offers an opportunity to celebrate, appreciate and understand the contributions of women in society. In each class, students will learn about a wonderful woman as well as draw an image that could be used for a public mural. Students of different drawing abilities are able to enjoy this...
Students will strengthen their appreciation and understanding of contributions made by female leaders around the world. By drawing mural image, students will enhance their creativity and artistic skills.
For more than 15 years, I have traveled the world and learned about the beauty of our world. I have visited more than 30 countries and lived in five different countries. In addition, I have a BA in Sociology from UCLA in Los Angeles. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Gender Studies from USC in Los Angeles. With a combination of real life experiences and cultural studies in college, I am eager to share the beauty of our diverse community through drawing of Wonderful Women of the World.
