Join me to learn all about the amazing life of Helen Keller! I will be reading and discussing parts of the book "A Girl Named Helen Keller". I will stop frequently throughout the lesson to discuss with students what they are learning about and what their thoughts are in relation to what they are learning. There will be ample time allotted for students to share their thoughts about Helen Keller and the life that she lived. 5 minutes- This will be spent building background knowledge and...
Students will be able to explain who Helen Keller was, how she lived and what amazing things she was able to accomplish in her lifetime.
I am currently a 1st grade teacher with a minor in history. History intrigues me and inspires me to want to share it with the world! People who have helped to shape the world, as we know it today, should never be forgotten.
