In this class, we will create an edible broomstick inspired from Harry Potter. We will begin doing some Harry Potter trivia together and discussing our favorite parts of the books/movies. Then, we will go step by step through the recipe to make three broomstick snacks. I will demonstrate the steps with my own example on video. While making our snack, we will continue to discuss all things Harry Potter. Learners do not need to have Harry Potter background knowledge to enjoy the snack, but it...
-3 small pretzel sticks (plus a few more in case any break!) -one piece of string cheese -one piece of chive (this will be cut thinly to make the "tie" on the broomstick and could be skipped if needed) -plastic knife (used to cut the chives and cheese) -a plate or something to use as a workspace
A plastic knife will be used for cutting. Be mindful that ingredients include dairy.
