18 gauge wire in a color of their choice - basic aluminum silver wire or copper wire is available in the jewelry section of Michaels. (minimum 2 yards)

1 or more pairs of French ear wires in a style of their choice

Selection of different beads of student's choice (Make sure the bead holes are large enough to fit over the wire but that the holes aren't too big - not bigger than 4 times the width of the wire.)

One pair each of round nose pliers, flat nose pliers and basic wire cutters.  If you are looking to save money you can purchase a 3 in 1 Tool from Bead Landing or any craft store brand instead of the 3.  This is an all in on tool that costs around $7.  It includes wire cutter, round nose pliers, and flat pliers.
