For this class, I will utilize the Wilson Reading System, which uses an Orton–Gillingham approach to reading instruction, and is very effective for struggling readers, especially those who have a language based learning disability, such as Dyslexia. I require that you schedule for no less than 2 sessions each week, preferably 3, so that the program can be adhered to with fidelity. This class runs in blocks of 4 weeks.

I have served as a Reading Specialist for the past 18 years, primarily utilizing the Wilson Reading System, as well as the Wilson FUNdations Program.
