Students will learn about regions of the world where the teacher's wildflower photographs were taken.
Students will learn how to write acrostic and haiku styles of poetry.
Students will learn about pollinators.
Students will paint several types of wildflowers including lupines using acrylic and watercolor paints.
Students will practice using acrylic and watercolor paint.

The teacher has a master's degree in Integrating Arts into the Curriculum and is thrilled to have Outschool as a platform to teach what she loves. She just celebrated her one-year anniversary as a teacher on this wonderful platform. She was a kindergarten through 4th-grade teacher for thirty years and currently gives workshops for PBS Kids.

Judy is fortunate to live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.  On weekends and during the summer she has fun searching for wildflowers and hiking with friends, her husband, and two grown sons at Lake Tahoe, along the Pacific Crest Trail, in San Francisco, and in Northern California. She's hiked in Iceland and along the Camino de Santiago in Spain (twice!) for a total of almost 800 miles, once with her youngest son.
