During this course, students will read a book to learn about the Amazon Rainforest. We will be using the "Who Was?" series as the base for our study. Prior to class, students will read the book for the class. The reading will be done independently at home. During class time, we will work through a brief overview of the history of the Amazon, followed by discussion and a journal entry.
