This class will take an in-depth look at the Great White Shark. Specifics of biology such as Ampullae of Lorenzini, Jaw and Teeth details, Warm-Blooded aspects, and fin and denticle structure. Myths and reality of attacks will be discussed, as well as current research, tagging and tracking efforts. The class will combine PowerPoint, physical examples, and student interaction/discussion.
