This is a fully engaged and interactive class with children having an opportunity to practice and learn all about emotions. During this class we will explore different emotions. First we will look at pictures and practice making the different emotions using our own faces. We then will listen to different short stories that contain different emotional themes and pick a visual picture that represents that emotion. Each child will be provided with visual pictures to cut out prior to class to...
- An understanding of emotions. Exploring different faces that show these emotions and looking at others practice making these same emotions is explored. Stories that show some examples of the emotions also included.

This class is specifically geared towards students who have trouble identifying emotions. This could be secondary to a wide range of diagnosis including those with Autism.
