During this class, students will review different forms of descriptive writing, such as elaborating with adjective and adverbs, using similes and metaphors, and relying on sensory writing to show, not tell. The first portion of the class will be focused on reviewing different descriptive writing techniques. Students will focus on expanding short sentences with each technique. During the second portion of the class, students will decide on an Autumn-themed object they would like to write...
Students will improve their skills of showing, not telling. Students will be able to use descriptive and sensory writing techniques.
