課堂經歷
During this live, one-time class, learners will read a story about being Thankful and create a Turkey Craftivity. We will begin with introductions stating where we live and how old we are. We will review our craftivity supplies needed and begin reading our story "The Thankful Book" by Todd Parr. As we read our story, we will talk to one-another about how we relate to the thoughts in the book. Following our story, we will complete our Thankful Turkey Craft! We will write the things we are thankful for on a turkey feather to be added to our "Thankful Turkey". If the learners feel uncomfortable writing them on their own, I will also provide a printout with the words already on the feathers. The learners will color their turkey and give the turkey some feathers with the things they are thankful for. Our Thankful Turkeys will be put together and say "I am Thankful For..." with all of the things we are thankful for on our Turkey Feathers. *This class will focus on sharing ideas, beginner level scissor usage, coloring, and writing.*

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (8) youngest daughter (6), and then the littlest one is 3years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
