Thanksgiving is coming and the turkeys are hiding! Let's go on a turkey hunt! We will sing a spoof off of the popular book and song, "We're going on a bear hunt!" We can hear the gobbling but can't see the turkeys. We will use clues to help us find if the turkeys are in the mud, a snowstorm, the grass, a cave, or maybe even in our own houses eating our food from the refrigerator! To help us be wise and organized hunters, we will keep track and count each turkey as we find them using our turkey tracking system...a turkey cut and glue craft. And don't forget, we have to talk about how to write and trace each number as we find each turkey so we can't lose them again! Come join in on our hunt! We need your help because there are not many days left before Thanksgiving!

Teaching Philosophy: I enjoy encouraging learners to be involved and engaged through a computer screen with hands-on activities, sharing, getting to know each other, and discussing topics of interest to the learners. I always work to inspire learners to continue their learning after class and to look forward to their next class.
Something Fun About Me:
I love camping, traveling, and the great outdoors. I have been to 41 of the 50 states and visited 23 of our inspiring national parks with a goal to visit all 63 of them someday. My 4 children, ages 9, 7, 4 and a baby, have accompanied my husband and I on many of our adventures. My oldest has Down syndrome, and she brings great joy and purpose to my life in raising awareness and teaching others about Down syndrome, diversity, and differences. I love my chocolate goldendoodle dog, my saltwater fish tank, and fuzzy sea otters!評論
