In this one time class, learners will be led through the "Going on a Bear Hunt" rhyme, acting out the story together as we search for our bear friend! Crawling, jumping, leaping, and skipping, students will all help to tell the story together. After our bear hunt, learners will be led through several social and highly energetic acting and movement games, all animal and nature themed! Learners are encouraged to bring their teddy bears to class (or one stuffed animal of their choice). We...

Parent supervision is advised because this class is highly active, much like a gym or dance class. Please have a clear space, free of slip/trip hazards. Please wear closed toe shoes, hair pulled back, and comfortable clothing to move in. Please keep water handy nearby and encourage students to take a break any time if they need one. Listen to your body! Everybody's body is different! - Note: This is a very creative and imaginative class! It's okay if your learner isn't doing exactly the "right" movements that I am doing or has a creative answer to a question. In fact, this is encouraged!
