In this one-time class we will learn about the planet Venus. Students will explore its extreme weather, structure, and unique orbital behavior. 

We will investigate questions such as:

What is Venus made from and how did it form?
How is Venus different from the other terrestrial planets?
What has Venus taught us about Earth?
How has the planet changed over time?
How do we study Venus?

We will also discuss the recent discovery of biomarkers (PH3s) in the planet's atmosphere and what that could mean for the possibility of life on Venus.

The class is lecture and discussion based. Learners will view and participate in a presentation full of images and some videos. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and think critically about the Venusian system!
