***Homeschooling and neurodivergent friendly*** In this weekly class, young artists will paint beautiful, vibrant watercolor sunsets in a relaxing environment. This class is perfect if your learner wants to relax and enjoy the calming feeling of painting. We'll explore color theory, blending techniques, and layering. Each week, we will focus on painting different beautiful sunset scenes. This class will help students become comfortable using a paintbrush as well as using watercolor paints....
In this watercolor sunset painting class, learners will learn to: Create beautiful sunset scenes using watercolor painting techniques. Experiment with color and blending techniques to create unique and vibrant sunsets. Explore their own creativity and artistic style in a safe and supportive environment. Develop their painting skills and gain confidence in their abilities as artists.
My classes have been praised by parents for their relaxing and therapeutic nature, providing a positive learning space for unique learning needs. I offer a flexible pace, visual and verbal instructions, and an encouraging environment.
Supplies Needed: 9x12 Watercolor Paper Pencil and Eraser (for light sketches) Paintbrushes (Large, Medium, and Small) (Flat and pointy round tips) 36 or 48 Watercolor Paint Palette (I'll be using a 48 paint palette) White Watercolor Paint Tube or White Acrylic Paint Fine tip black marker Cup of Water Paper Towel Masking Tape
Adult supervision is recommended for students who are still learning how to use a blow dryer.
