Each week during this 6 week course, the learner will take photographs based on a topic; tips, and techniques provided by instructor. A photoshoot guide will be provided (PDF) tips. The topics for each week will be given on live meeting times. Students will be challenged to take pictures of the technique they learn each week. They will share their fantastic images in a shared google slide gallery. Students can use cell phone camera or digital camera for this course.

Each week the photoshoot topic is new - anyone can join in from week to week.
The topics will include objects, animals, and creative photographic arrangements that can be easily found around the house and neighborhood. 
The topics are designed to be fun activities that encourage growth in photographic skills.
I will teach a new technique live each week.
Students can use their cell phone camera or a digital camera.

Topics will include:
Week of June 22nd: Get to know you photography - composing photograph that is personal to show your personality 
Week of June 29th: Macro photography - focus on up close shots-capturing texture and interest 
Week of July 6th: Wonderful world of Animals-friend's pet, or what do you see outside? (bird, squirrel...)
Week of July 13th: A World of Color - Focus is on color groups and color saturation, the outcome is a colorful beautiful arrangement
Week of July 20th: Refraction Photography - learn how water can trick the eye this is fun creative photoshoot
Week of July 27th: Food Photography - Everyone loves to snack! Learn to tips create a yummy photograph!


My philosophy is to encourage each student to use their unique experiences to create art that is meaningful to them. When learning photography students can become hindered by the techniques and camera functions. In this course, I hope to encourage the students to become curious and learn compositional guidelines through the weekly topics.
