This class is a private flute and/or piccolo lesson. It is for flutists who are just beginning through advanced high school players. We will study tone, technique, breathing, scales, vibrato, and articulation among other flute specific topics. Depending on the ability level of the learner, we will use different method books, etudes, technical studies, and solo literature. Learners will need access to a metronome and tuner. I will suggest apps depending on the learner. Depending on the flutist’s ability level, I will also choose a method book, etudes, and solos to use. Some of these may be available free online and some will need to be purchased. I will send links for materials as needed.
