*In this class students will focus on 2 letters per class starting with the letter "A". This class is ongoing, so students may join at any time. However, 13 classes, or 6.5 weeks will be needed to create the entire book. Each class we will talk about our letters of the day, what sound(s) they makes, and what starts with those letters. Prior to class, students should work with a grown-up to find pictures of items that start with those letters and bring them to class. So for letter "A", learns...
Students will gain a beginning understanding of the letters of the alphabet.
-Printer to print materials - posted weekly -glue (stick) -crayons/markers/colored pencils -scissors -weekly pictures For Parents: To turn these pages into a DIY A-B-C book, grown up can laminate each page or put them in page protectors. These can then be hole punched and put into a binder or connected with single rings. Parents can also help students staple the pages together.
-Scissors and glue will be used. Please make sure your learner is proficient and safe with them independently or be there to assist.
